The Highest Kite

Today's card is my second inspired by the wonderful mood board at Double D Challenges: - WINNER!

I really do love using a red white and blue colour scheme on cards but today I've used a made a much cleaner card as I was also inspired by the one layer challenge at Less Is More:

My first challenge was to find an image with both spots and stripes! I've used a very old digi from TLC - a great site for freebies, especially vintage images and word art. I've coloured it with pro-markers and used 300gsm linen card so there is no bleeding through. The sentiment is a quote I found by simply googling 'kite quotes' - as for most things the internet is your friend.

 Thanks for visiting

  3. WOW!!! This is FABULOUS! Great job pulling in those stars & stripes! Truly an awesome creation (I struggle with this much white space but you've showcased it perfectly!!!!) Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Red, White & Blue’ challenge! We hope you’ll come back often.
